KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
General
• Design, develop, maintain and integrate related systems / sub-systems
• Implement new functionality as required
• Software implementation fault finding and debugging support

Qualifications
• Bsc
• Sun Java certified courses advantageous
The successful applicant must:
• Be self-motivated, energetic and willing to put in extra effort if required
• Be able to work close together within in a team
Specific Skills (Technical):
• Practical knowledge, experience and exposure to the following:
o Java J2SE server side development experience
o SQL Server (Database design and programming)
o Development environment using Eclipse IDE and CVS configuration tool, with
ANT build files
• Advantageous to also have experience with front-end development and integration,
web interfaces, user interfaces using Tomcat with technologies such as:
o JSP, JavaScript, Servlets
o HTTP, HTML, XML, XSLT
o iBATIS, Struts
o Webservices, SOAP
• Must be willing to learn a wide arena of related technologies such as GSM, Crypto, SIM,USSD,J2ME.
• Must have a focused career history in pure software development
• Must have solid java server side development experience and knowledge
• Mobile application development advantageous
